Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete the installation of electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage applications Utilize basic hand tools, power tools, large electrical equipment effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and specifications Conduct tests using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems Follow safety protocols and adhere to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards during all work activities Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, benders, electrical tools, and diagnostic equipment Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively Ability to plan work based on blueprints and schematics Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety on construction sitesQUALIFICATIONS
High school degree or equivalent 5+ years of experience in electrical systems including switchgear, pipework, transformer installations, fire alarm, lighting, and underground to finish work Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Experience using diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters Knowledge of NEC standards and safety protocols Professional manner and appearance Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Self-guided and able to work independently Strong organizational skills Please understand that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screenPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Climb ladders and work overhead from an elevated position Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, and reach in tight spaces Regular grasping and repetitive hand movements Visual acuity adequate to differentiate wire colors and work with small wiring and connectionsTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
