Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Apprentice and kick-start your career in the electrical industry! You'll work alongside experienced electricians on diverse projects, gaining essential skills in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical work. Responsibilities Assist senior electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various construction sites and facilities. Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support accurate wiring and system setup. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform tasks such as wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation. Support the testing of electrical circuits using tools like the ohmmeter to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance. Help with the installation of low voltage and high voltage systems, adhering strictly to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Participate in site inspections, ensuring all work aligns with safety protocols and project specifications. Gain exposure to blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and framing carpentry related to electrical infrastructure. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework in electrical technology is a plus. Some experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrical systems is preferred but not required. Basic understanding of hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety practices. Strong interest in learning about low voltage, high voltage systems, and NEC standards. Ability to read blueprints and schematics with guidance from experienced professionals. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality work. Construction site experience or exposure to framing carpentry is advantageous but not mandatory.
