We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments, ensuring adherence to local electrical codes and safety procedures. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations. Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to identify faults or deficiencies within complex electrical systems. Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring work safely on industrial equipment and power distribution systems. Install and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low-voltage control systems essential for automation processes. Follow NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards rigorously during all installation and repair activities to ensure compliance. Use hand tools, power tools, and construction site experience to complete electrical work efficiently while maintaining safety protocols. Assist with renovation projects by reading blueprints, performing wiring tasks, and ensuring all work aligns with project specifications. Troubleshoot electrical systems on construction sites or during ongoing operations to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Qualifications Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems. Demonstrated ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints accurately. Knowledge of local electrical codes (such as NEC) and NFPA 70 compliance standards is essential. Experience working with high-voltage wiring, low-voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and troubleshooting electrical issues effectively. Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools including voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices. Construction site experience with a focus on safety procedures related to electrical work is highly desirable. Ability to perform installation tasks using hand tools, power tools, and power equipment safely and efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions. Additional handyman or frame carpentry experience is a plus for versatile project support.
