Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Wire:
3 Phase motor connections, disconnects, fuse blocks, timers, counters, process meters, contactors, heaters, transformers, proximity sensors, relays, solenoids, drives and plc's Troubleshoot and test AC and DC motor control circuits. Locate bad fuses, short circuits, opens and grounds, and be able to repair as needed. Run power circuits for required loads per NEC standards Understand software programs of AC drives, DC drives, timers, photoelectric sensors, proximity sensors, and process meters well enough to load programs and make parameter changes Diagnostic testing using VOM and amprobe Understand and complete work orders Perform basic mechanical duties Must be willing to assist and train Class II Electricians Electrical Safety Training Lock-out / Tag-out Training CPR and First Aid training
