The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems and components throughout the mill to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production operations.
  • Pay range: $29.35 per hour
  • to •$40.
92 per hour
  • based on skill level and experience.
  • Gainshare Bonus:
  • Quarterly performance-based bonus.
  • What You'll Do
  • + Perform electrical repair and improvement projects throughout the entire mill site.
+ Read, write, and understand electrical schematics, equipment drawings, and blueprints. + Perform routine preventative maintenance duties. + Troubleshoot, maintain and repair all Programmable Logic Controller (P.L.C.) controls, A.C inverters, or any other control systems throughout the mill site. + Adhere to an absolute lock-out policy, ensuring that the power source is turned off, machine locked out, and tested to ensure isolation. + Effectively manage and plan work to accomplish job tasks with minimal direct supervision. + Submit work requests. + Fill out completed work orders listing work done, parts used, and time taken to complete the job. + Perform any other duties in any area requested by Supervisor. +
Physical Requirements:
Walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • What You Offer
  • + Two years of related experience or a two-year technical degree in a closely related field.
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred. + Ability to work safely from elevated platforms and heights. + Skilled in training others and supporting preventive maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems. + Willingness to learn to operate mill equipment to perform test runs following repairs. + Flexibility with schedules, including weekends, holidays, and call-ins as needed. + Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
