Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician Class A or Residential to join our dynamic electrical team. Duties Install, wire, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and renovation settings using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical schematics to accurately execute project plans. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues efficiently. Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation systems in industrial environments. Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical installations and ensure safety protocols are followed. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, perform maintenance tasks, and document all work performed accurately. Requirements Valid Journeyman Electrician Class A license, Residential or equivalent certification. Proven experience as an industrial electrician, commercial, or residential electrician working on construction sites or renovation projects. Strong knowledge of NEC regulations, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation. Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate tools like ohmmeters. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and control wiring is highly desirable. Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently; experience with frame carpentry or handyman skills is a plus. Construction site experience demonstrating adaptability in various environments; ability to work at heights or in confined spaces if required.
