Overview Are you a Maintenance Assistant II looking to work for an amazing organization by serving others and connecting with your co-workers? Immanuel Communities is seeking a Maintenance Assistant II to work at Deerfield, located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323. Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care/skilled nursing suites. The schedule for this Full time Day shift is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The position also includes an on-call rotation for one week each month. Job Duties & Skills Required What You Will Do The overall purpose of this job is to complete interior and exterior carpentry work and maintain utilities for the facility. The responsibilities of this job include maintaining HVAC, heat pumps, furnaces, plumbing, and electrical functionality, record keeping, hanging dry wall, and clearing snow from walkways. Skills & Requirements High School Diploma/GED is required. HVAC Trade or Vocational Schooling is preferred. Two (2) years of facilities maintenance experience is required.
