Job Description
About the Role As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical technical resource, ensuring the reliability and peak performance of complex industrial systems. You will utilize your expertise in troubleshooting, circuit analysis, and system calibration to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues by interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to restore equipment functionality. Execute the installation, calibration, and maintenance of diverse electronic control systems, power distribution units, and production instrumentation. Proactively identify material requirements and develop systematic repair plans to address both routine maintenance and emergency equipment failures. Perform high-voltage maintenance, including the inspection and repair of switchgear, cabling, and insulators to ensure facility safety. Install and configure conduit, switches, and control fixtures to support new equipment integration and system upgrades. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and precision hand tools to verify that all electrical systems operate within safety and efficiency parameters. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and project documentation through digital management systems to track equipment health and repair history. Operate specialized mobile equipment, including forklifts, overhead cranes, and scissor lifts, to safely access and service industrial machinery. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance or completion of a recognized technical training program. Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting complex electrical and electronic systems. Ability to interpret detailed schematics and technical documentation. Commitment to rigorous safety standards and regulatory compliance. Preferred Skills Certification for operating industrial mobile equipment (forklifts, man-lifts, or cranes). Experience with high-voltage switchgear and power distribution systems. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on preventative maintenance strategies.
