MEP/CSA Journeyman Electrician — Semiconductor Facilities SemiConX Boise, ID Job Details Full-time $42 - $60 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Blueprint specification interpretation OSHA 10 Geometry Full Job Description About the Role Join SemiConX LLC as a full-time, on-site Journeyman Electrician supporting a semiconductor facility in Boise, Idaho. You'll execute electrical work across complex MEP and CSA scopes, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operations.
wiring, conduit, lighting, and control systems for commercial and industrial projects in a semiconductor environment. Troubleshoot and repair using multimeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters; isolate faults and verify corrective actions. Interpret and apply blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications to plan and deliver work. Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and site safety standards. Perform preventative maintenance on transformers, breakers, and panelboards. Adhere to lockout/tagout and strict safety procedures at all times. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other trades to hit schedule and budget targets. Provide rapid response for emergency service calls. Manage tools, equipment, and consumable inventory. Train and mentor apprentices and junior electricians. Document work orders, logs, and reports with precise detail. Qualifications Idaho Journeyman Electrician license, or reciprocity eligibility from one of the following: Colorado, Maine, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Wyoming. Experience in electrical installation across commercial/industrial scopes; semiconductor experience strongly preferred. OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 for supervisory positions. Proficient in blueprint reading and working from 2D drawings.
