An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
E SSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot and resolve solar electric warranty and service issues that arise with: modules, inverters, monitoring and balance of system components Investigate and mitigate any reported roof leaks including thorough documentation: complete roof leak checklist, photos and written observations Communicate with the Construction Supervisor, and Engineering Team members to resolve any redline issues Receive, update and complete Field Service Dispatches (FSDs) with Service Dashboard in Salesforce Ensuring the timely communication and completion of service and warranty work with an emphasis on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction Develop and refine processes and gain technical skills related to service work for residential solar photovoltaic systems following department policy to prepare for advanced technical skills as FPT2. Education And Experience High School diploma is required 1 - 3 years of previous field construction or solar experience required PV design or PV electrical experience is preferredLICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
(include where appropriate) Must maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check. Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Valid state or local Electrical Journeyman certification or license preferred. Depending on state requirements an Electrical Journeyman certification or license may be requiredSKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Working knowledge of current NEC codes. Ability to interpret single line drawings and PV systems from roof to meter. Demonstrates knowledge of electrical principles as it pertains to solar interconnection/tie-in and code and how PV systems operate. Understands interconnection activities. Understands basic construction principles.Safety:
Adheres to company safety policies and procedures including ability to identify and report safety hazards, and the ability to encourage others to work safelyCustomer Service:

Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance) Ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces which requires frequent bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, turning, standing, and balance Ability to climb ladders Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including but not limited to: excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, wet environment, and humidity Ability to frequently utilize hand functions requiring fine motor skills, including but not limited to: fine manipulation, grasping, and pinching Ability to work within the safe range of equipment such as ladders, fall protection harnesses and other personal protective equipment Ability to work and maintain balance on roofs and other areas of height Ability to work in the sun and possibly low light conditions Ability to walk on rafters, roof tiles, and roof shingles without damage Ability to distinguish colors such as red, black, yellow, white, green Ability to work in confined spaces such as attics, basements, and crawl spaces which requires kneeling and crouching Ability to hear verbal commands and warnings Ability to work with chemicals using appropriate protectionsDISCLAIMER
