Job Description

Job Title:
Electrician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrician responsible for both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs. You will engage in preventative and reactive maintenance on various machinery, ensuring smooth operations. The role involves repairing gearboxes, conveyors, mixers, chillers, proofers, ovens, and baggers, working with voltages up to 480V. You will also be tasked with rewiring and swapping out motors, assisting machine operators, and performing welding and fabricating tasks. This position requires a combination of 60% mechanical and 40% electrical skills, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Responsibilities Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery. Repair gearboxes, conveyors, mixers, chillers, proofers, ovens, and baggers. Work with voltages up to 480V. Rewire and swap out motors. Assist machine operators in setting up and changing over machinery. Perform welding and fabricating tasks. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Essential Skills 3-5 years of electrical and mechanical experience. Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical issues using a volt meter. Experience in swapping, repairing, and wiring motors. GMP experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications PLC Programming and advanced troubleshooting. Boiler (steam) maintenance experience. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
