We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician / Electrician to support a manufacturing operation in Elk Grove Village, Illinois . This is an excellent opportunity for experienced industrial maintenance professionals as well as recent graduates from accredited technical or skilled trades programs who are looking to begin a long-term career. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete repairs efficiently. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components. Run electrical circuits, bend conduit, and wire breaker panels and switchgear. Perform maintenance on rectifiers and associated electrical equipment. Read and interpret work orders, wiring diagrams, and electrical drawings. Maintain production equipment to minimize downtime. Complete assigned work accurately and on schedule. Follow all safety procedures, including Arc Flash requirements. Support continuous improvement and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Assist with additional maintenance projects as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Vocational or technical education in electrical, industrial maintenance, or a related trade preferred. Minimum of two years of industrial electrical or maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Recent graduates from accredited skilled trades or technical programs are encouraged to apply. Experience troubleshooting electrical equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship. Preferred Qualifications Experience with manufacturing or production equipment. Knowledge of plating processes and DC electrical systems. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Welding experience is beneficial but not required.
