Job Description

Position Summary We are currently hiring a skilled Industrial Electrician to support operations in a high-demand manufacturing environment. This role reports to the Electrical Lead and Electrical Supervisor and plays a vital part in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of production and auxiliary systems. The successful candidate will have strong experience in industrial automation , AC/DC motors and drives , and power distribution systems , along with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex electrical and mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems in a fast-paced industrial setting. Work with AC and DC motors , variable speed drives (VFDs) , motor control systems , and power distribution equipment up to 4160V. Support automation systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and sensors. Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime. Collaborate with team members across maintenance and production departments. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. Uphold and enforce all company and regulatory safety procedures and housekeeping standards. Maintain production and auxiliary equipment in a professional, craftsman-like manner. Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of relevant experience or formal training as an industrial electrician. Working knowledge of electrical theory and electrical safety. Ability to work safely under pressure in a high-stress, high-temperature environment. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Team-oriented with strong communication skills. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of industrial electrical experience in a heavy manufacturing environment. Experience with DC overhead cranes . Advanced troubleshooting and maintenance of AC/DC motor controls , VFDs , and motor control centers . Experience with PLC systems , including troubleshooting and basic programming. Familiarity with mechanical systems , including pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic welding. Journeyman Electrician License is a plus. Additional Requirements Commitment to personal and team safety. Strong sense of accountability and initiative. Willingness to work overtime and respond to off-shift maintenance needs when necessary.
