Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a high-performing Maintenance team at a primary manufacturing facility, with support responsibilities for a newly constructed plant upon opening. This role will serve as a key technical lead for electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment installation initiatives in a highly regulated environment.

Job Duties:

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including wiring, circuitry, motors, control panels, and automation equipmentDiagnose and resolve complex electrical issues involving PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial control systemsSupport and lead new machine installations, equipment upgrades, and commissioning activities within both existing and new plant operationsServe as a technical resource for electrical systems in a highly regulated manufacturing environmentRead and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawingsEnsure all work complies with NEC standards and internal safety protocolsPerform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptimeCollaborate with maintenance, engineering, production, and leadership teams to support operational goalsMaintain detailed and accurate documentation of repairs, installations, and maintenance activitiesSupport continuous improvement initiatives and participate in equipment optimization projectsUtilize proper testing tools and voltage detection equipment to ensure safe work practicesParticipate in ongoing training and development related to evolving technologies and systems

Qualifications:

4-5+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated manufacturing environmentsStrong experience with 480V 3-phase systems and industrial motor controlsProven experience with new equipment installation, commissioning, and machinery upgradesHands-on experience troubleshooting PLCs (Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley required)Strong ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematicsSolid understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) standardsStrong troubleshooting skills with industrial automation and control systemsStable work history (no frequent job changes preferred)Strong attention to detail, safety, and reliability Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
