Posted on August 14, 2026 Published By Aurora Rodriguez Trillium Construction is now hiring Journeyman Solar Electricians in the Pontiac, IL area!

Per diem! Work will take place on a prevailing wage solar site. Pay is $73.92 on the Pontiac, IL site (will be moving to Ursa, IL after and pay is $66.86) plus Per diem of $125/day all 7 days. Scheduled is Monday-Friday, 6am-4:30pm

Duration:

Pontiac, IL is 4 weeks and Ursa, IL is an additional 8 weeks.

Duties:

Install and terminate:
Conduit
Wire
Combiner boxes
Inverters
Transformers

Requirements:

Journeyman level experience with commercial industrial or utility-scale electrical installations and equipment commissioning.
OSHA10
Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems and performing quality control checks on completed work.
Strong knowledge of NEC requirements, electrical schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings.
