Job Description

Priority Electric Solutions is looking for an experienced and dependable electrician to join our growing team. We provide residential and commercial electrical services throughout Northern Illinois and the Chicago suburbs. We're looking for someone who can confidently handle service work, troubleshooting, installations, and electrical upgrades while providing a professional experience for our customers. This position requires someone who is comfortable with technology. Our field operations are digital, and electricians use a company-provided iPad and multiple apps throughout the workday. What You'll Be Doing Residential and commercial electrical service work Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues Electrical repairs and replacements Service and panel upgrades Installing breakers, outlets, switches, GFCIs, lighting, and other electrical equipment Ceiling fan and exhaust fan installations EV charger installations Running conduit and new circuits Generator-related electrical work Electrical inspections and code corrections Reading plans and determining materials and installation methods Communicating professionally with customers and the office Completing work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with electrical code Using an iPad throughout the day to receive and manage jobs Completing digital job notes, forms, checklists, and documentation Uploading jobsite and completed-work photos Using company apps for scheduling, communication, time tracking, and job documentation What We're Looking For 5+ years of electrical experience preferred Strong residential service and troubleshooting experience Ability to independently diagnose problems and complete service calls Solid understanding of the NEC and electrical safety Comfortable using an iPad and learning different applications Professional appearance and strong customer service skills Strong communication and documentation skills Valid driver's license and clean/reliable driving record Dependable and able to show up on time Illinois electrical license or ability to provide/use a qualifying license is a major plus What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Full-time hours Company work van Company-provided iPad Company gas card Company expense card for approved job materials Paid time off Opportunities for additional compensation Opportunity to grow into a lead or management position as the company expands Variety of residential and commercial work Local work throughout Northern Illinois Growing company where strong employees have the opportunity to grow with us Schedule Full-Time

•Monday through Friday Typical work hours are approximately 7:00 AM

•5:00 PM , depending on the day's schedule and projects. Additional weekend or emergency work may occasionally be available.

Pay:

$32.00

•$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
