CM Electric Inc is looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join their team in Wheeling, IL! We offer competitive pay, growth opportunities, and a supportive company culture. As a journeyman electrician with our team, you'll work on a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring that each project is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial, residential, or industrial settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams Perform conduit bending, wiring, and panel installations Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and equipment failures Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC codes and local regulations Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members on job sites Maintain a safe and organized work environment following OSHA safety standardsRequirements:
Minimum 3+ years of experience Must have basic electrician tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience with conduit bending, panel wiring, and circuit troubleshooting Communication skills in English Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation We offer a competitive salary range of $30-$45/hour, depending on experience.
