Lead Sign Installer / Crew Lead -

Commercial Signs Pay:

$32-$38/hour, based on experience Full-time We are looking for a strong Lead Installer / Crew Lead who can handle commercial sign installations with minimal supervision, lead a small crew, troubleshoot problems in the field, and assist with fabrication when not installing. Sign industry experience is preferred, but not required. We will consider experienced candidates from related trades such as HVAC, solar installation, electrical, low-voltage, glazing, awnings, commercial construction, cabinet/millwork installation, graphics installation, or similar hands-on field trades. This is a hands-on role for someone who is mechanically strong, comfortable using tools and working at heights, and capable of taking ownership of a job from start to finish. Responsibilities Lead and perform commercial sign installations Direct and train less-experienced crew members Review drawings, measurements, hardware, tools, and materials before leaving the shop Install dimensional letters, wall signs, monument signs, post-and-panel signs, illuminated signs, graphics, and other commercial signage Perform site surveys and field measurements Troubleshoot field conditions and installation problems Safely drive and operate company vehicles and bucket trucks Safely operate ladders, power tools, lifts, and installation equipment Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and sign-related electrical work within the scope of the position Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers Assist with sign fabrication, assembly, vinyl application, and installation preparation when not in the field Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment Requirements Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Must be able to safely drive and operate a bucket truck Must have working knowledge of electrical systems and basic electrical troubleshooting Strong mechanical and installation skills Experience leading a small crew or working independently Comfortable with measurements, tools, ladders, lifts, and jobsite work Strong problem-solving skills Dependable, professional, and safety-minded The goal is simple: we need someone who can take a crew and an installation and get the job completed safely, correctly, and efficiently without constant supervision.

Pay:

$32-$38/hour, depending on experience and demonstrated ability.
