Job Description

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Residential Electrician. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems, as well as electrical components. We work with both residential and commercial clients, so you must be able to diagnose and repair electrical wiring problems in a variety of homes and commercial buildings, such as outlets, lighting, services and panels. Our ideal candidate has at least four years of professional experience and has extensive knowledge of different types of electrical. Electrician Duties and Responsibilities  Review job calls each day  Identify electrical problem areas on-site that need replacement or repair  Perform repair or replace wiring when necessary  Troubleshoot and ensure that the electrical system is working properly before leaving client location  Maintain and store tools and equipment properly  Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings  Ensures piping complies with electrical codes Electrician Requirements and Qualifications  High school diploma or equivalent  Completion of an electrician program at a vocational school or an electrician apprenticeship preferred  4+ years of electrician experience preferred  Proficient with standard industry tools and techniques  Able to read blueprints and schematic drawings  Excellent communication and problem-solving skills  Able to work with conduit and Romex  Able to work over time as needed  Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment  Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending and climbing ladders or scaffolding  Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduit  Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
