Job Description

Gulf Stream Coach, Inc. based in Nappanee, Indiana is a leading name in the recreational vehicle (RV) industry, dedicated to creating high-quality, innovative RVs that provide exceptional comfort and adventure for their customers. With a legacy spanning several decades. We are currently looking for an experienced RV Electrical Group Leader to join our Etna Green Plant. This person will manage, lead, and motivate employees to achieve daily operations, resolve issues and train staff to ensure quality targets are met and drive efficiency with their plant superintendent's direction. In this role you will diagnose and repair the intricate electrical systems within our recreational vehicles, including troubleshooting, rough wire, roof wire, wiring, fix lighting and appliance issues, and perform maintenance on components like generators and inverters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Installing Electrical systems in RV and connect to external power to ensure safe operation of all electrical systems.
Rough wire units and install electrical boxes, outlets, switches and light fixtures
Roof Wire solar panels, skylights, and antennas
Installing and maintaining 12 V DC and 120V AC electrical systems and Adapters 30/50 AMP, Converters
Inspect and test the RV's electrical systems and components to identify problems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, connections, and circuits, using specialized tools.
Diagnose and fix issues with appliances and other electrical equipment
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools are in good working order.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Manage daily tasks, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and support overall department goal.

Train new employees, provide expert advice, and foster a positive team environment. Exhibit leadership by fully sustaining the mission, values, and principles of the company. Achieving goals and objectives in support of the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent.

QUALIFICATIONS

6 years of RV Electrical experience preferred and knowledge of RVIA Code.
Knowledge of electrical systems, including AC/DC power, wiring, and components.
Ability to interpret technical diagrams and specifications.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools (e.g., ohmmeters) and hand tools.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication skills to interact with customers and other technicians.
Physical ability to handle tools and equipment.
