Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices on residential, commercial, or industrial job sites Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, panels, and equipment per NEC code Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams Ensure all work meets local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards Coordinate daily workflow, assign tasks, and monitor crew productivity Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions Communicate with project managers, contractors, and clients regarding project progress
Requirements:
Valid Indiana Journeyman Electrician license required 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience in the field Prior leadership or crew lead experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local electrical regulations Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
