Job Description

ESC has an exciting opportunity for a second shift Electrician to support a leading manufacturing operation in Hammond, IN . This full-time opportunity is ideal for an experienced electrician who enjoys troubleshooting industrial electrical systems, working with PLCs and automation equipment, and supporting high-speed manufacturing operations. Training:
Monday-Friday, 7 AM to 3:30
PM Shift:
Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM to 12
AM Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems in a manufacturing environment to ensure reliable equipment performance Investigate and resolve electrical, mechanical, and operational issues using advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques Install and wire motors, switch panels, fuse boxes, motor control centers (MCCs), and power circuits Create, update, and maintain layouts of electrical circuits and system components Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs, including Allen Bradley systems Work with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), AC/DC circuits, 4-20 mA instrumentation circuits, and 440 MCCs Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and improve workplace safety Follow established safety procedures while supporting the maintenance and reliability of production equipment
Must Have Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment or a degree in a related field Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documentation Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLC hardware and software Experience working with AC/DC circuits, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), 4-20 mA circuits, and 440 MCCs Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Strong commitment to workplace safety Nice to

Experience performing preventive maintenance in a manufacturing environment Experience troubleshooting industrial automation and production equipment Knowledge of electrical layouts, power distribution, and industrial control systems Experience supporting high-speed manufacturing operations
