Overview Join our team as an Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician and play a key role in maintaining the electrical and mechanical systems that keep our industrial manufacturing facility operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on industrial electrical experience and be comfortable diagnosing problems rather than simply replacing components. This position operates within a chemical manufacturing environment where proper PPE, including a respirator or mask, is required in designated areas. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and production equipment. Work with 480V systems, motors, motor controls, electrical panels, and power distribution equipment. Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs, relays, contactors, sensors, and other electrical components. Read electrical schematics and use multimeters and other testing equipment to diagnose equipment failures. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment including conveyors, pumps, mixers, bearings, gearboxes, chains, and belts. Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Follow plant safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and required PPE protocols. Experience Industrial electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment. Strong troubleshooting experience with 480V electrical systems, motors, and motor controls. Experience with PLCs, VFDs, relays, contactors, sensors, and electrical panels. Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot using a multimeter. Hands-on mechanical maintenance experience with industrial production equipment. Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. Ability to independently diagnose equipment failures and determine root causes. Comfortable working in a chemical manufacturing environment and wearing required respiratory protection/PPE.
