• 50/hr | Full-Time Growing Electrical Team A well-established Indianapolis-area mechanical and construction contractor is adding an experienced electrical professional to its field team.

The company works on a variety of commercial, industrial, and agricultural construction projects and has built its business through quality workmanship, dependable service, and strong customer relationships. This position is suited for an electrician who enjoys hands-on construction work, can work independently in the field, and takes ownership of getting projects completed correctly and safely.

What You'll Do:

Installing electrical systems and components for commercial and industrial facilities Installing and terminating electrical panels, disconnects, controls, fixtures, and other equipment Measuring, cutting, bending, and installing conduit Pulling, routing, labeling, and terminating electrical conductors Reviewing construction plans and electrical drawings before and during installation Troubleshooting electrical systems and identifying the source of equipment or circuit issues Using meters and other diagnostic equipment to verify proper operation Performing startup, testing, and final checks on completed installations Working closely with project managers, foremen, and other trades to keep projects moving Identifying potential installation or safety issues before they become larger problems Following applicable electrical codes, project specifications, and company safety procedures Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area What We're Looking For The successful candidate will bring: At least 5 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience Hands-on experience with electrical installation and construction Ability to understand and work from blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics Experience with conduit installation and wire pulling Familiarity with panels, controls, fixtures, and electrical equipment Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and use standard testing equipment Comfortable working around other trades on active construction sites Strong knowledge of safe electrical work practices and applicable NEC requirements Dependability and the ability to manage responsibilities with limited supervision A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Why Consider This Opportunity? $40
