Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician/Electrical Technician to join our manufacturing facility team. This role is integral to ensuring the continuous operation, safety, and efficiency of our production equipment and electrical systems. The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in industrial maintenance, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting, with the ability to perform complex repairs and preventative maintenance. Duties Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, electrical blueprints, multimeters (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter), and other precision measuring instruments. Diagnose and resolve equipment failures promptly to minimize downtime. Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial control panels. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future inspections. Perform welding tasks such as stick welding to repair or fabricate metal components. Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately. Operate scissor lifts or other aerial work platforms safely for elevated maintenance tasks. Support engineering troubleshooting efforts by analyzing system performance data and recommending improvements. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular inspections. Requirements Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment; familiarity with manufacturing facility operations is preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting electrical issues using multimeters (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter) and reading schematics. Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, pumps, low voltage electrical systems and production equipment. Skilled in equipment troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance practices. Ability to read electrical blueprints and mechanical schematics accurately. Proficiency with CMMS software for work order management. Experience with welding techniques such as stick welding is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge combined with industrial mechanic experience to support complex machinery repairs. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for accurate diagnostics. Valid certification or licensing in industrial electrician work or related fields is advantageous. Excellent analysis skills coupled with customer service orientation for effective communication across teams. Ability to operate scissor lifts or similar equipment safely in accordance with safety standards. Fluency in English; strong communication skills are essential for documentation and team collaboration.
