!!We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Electrician to join our company and support our Tipton IN location. As the Production Electrician, you will focus on ensuring safe and reliable operation of plant electrical systems by performing electrical repairs, inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance in compliance with company safety standards. It includes maintaining and improving electrical, controls, instrumentation, HMI, and HVAC systems; supporting capital projects; and recommending safety and process improvements. The position also manages electrical work orders, documentation, and preventive/predictive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and support continuous production.VISA Sponsorship is not available for this positionRelocation assistance is not offered for this positionThis role will be 100% on-site at the location
What You'll Do:
Ensure all work meets company safety standards by leading safe practices, driving risk reduction efforts, and supporting incident investigationsSupport plant operations through corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance activitiesCreate, modify, and close work orders in CMMS along with ensuring accurate documentation of labor and parts allocationProvide maintenance support for capital projects while working with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure safe, effective execution, and strong communication across shifts and departmentsMaintain the condition of the plant shop and maintenance toolsUtilize predictive maintenance tools to identify emerging equipment issues and develop, update, and train others on effective preventive maintenance plansAssist in maintaining detailed equipment records and site/system printsPlan and lead project work as needed, working with Operations to ensure maintenance activities are completed without interrupting productionMaintain Enterprise Asset Management system: ensure work order quality, PM plans, and provide user training/support, etc.Troubleshoot and maintain HMI systems using Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE/MEAssist in estimating labor and equipment costs, maintain maintenance and repair records, and support the development, installation, inspection, and upkeep of new or upgraded mechanical and electrical equipment.
Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC, for process and facilityPerform electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment, following the prescribed guidelines and proceduresMake recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes including addition of new devices, and hardwareOther duties as assigned
Education:
High School diploma/GED.What Skills You Need:
Holds a valid US driver''s licenseWilling and able to work on elevated surfaces (with fall protection equipment, of course, because safety is always number one to you!)Willingness and flexibility to work extended and overtime, including weekends and holidays, as needed to support business needsPhysical Job Requirements:
Stand and sit for extended periodsWork both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditionsLift up to 60 lbs.Perform work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive liftingExposure to dust and plant allergens including but not limited to corn, sunflower, cotton, and canola pollen and protein and sorghum as well as potential mold spores and/or chemicals in the course of your dutiesReasonable accommodations will be considered in accordance with applicable laws to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.
