What You'll beDoing:
Perform building and HVAC system commissioning for new construction, existing buildings, and retrofit projects across campus. Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), mechanical, and electrical systems to ensure they operate safely, efficiently, and as designed. Use building automation systems (BAS), computers, meters, monitoring equipment, and diagnostic tools to identify system issues and verify performance. Perform functional testing, adjust controls, calibrate equipment, and document results to ensure optimal system operation and energy efficiency. Follow established safety procedures and select the appropriate tools, instruments, and testing methods required for each assignment. Work closely with commissioning consultants, Central Shops, Zone Maintenance, Engineering, Utilities, and Construction teams to support the installation, startup, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and HVAC systems.
