$30.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience

Potential to grow into a full-time position Join a Growing Renewable Energy Company Kansas Solar Systems is seeking a dependable, motivated electrician to support our expanding solar, battery storage, EV charging, and residential service operations throughout Kansas. This position is ideal for a licensed journeyman electrician or experienced electrical professional looking for flexible part-time work with the opportunity to grow into a long-term full-time role. We are looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to be part of a growing local company making a positive impact. Responsibilities Install and connect residential and commercial solar energy systems Assist with electrical service upgrades and main panel replacements Install battery backup systems and EV charging equipment Troubleshoot electrical, solar, and energy storage systems Perform residential electrical repairs and maintenance Install lighting, ceiling fans, outlets, breakers, and related electrical components Assist with general home repair and improvement projects as needed Read and interpret electrical plans, diagrams, and specifications Ensure all work complies with NEC requirements and local codes Maintain a safe, professional, and customer-focused jobsite QualificationsPreferred Kansas Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent experience Strong residential electrical experience Ability to work independently and troubleshoot effectively Good communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Bonus Qualifications Solar installation experience Battery storage experience EV charger installation experience Commercial electrical experience NABCEP certification General construction, maintenance, or home repair experience Compensation & Benefits $30.00 - $40.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications Flexible part-time schedule Opportunity to transition into a full-time position Paid training in solar, battery storage, and EV charging systems Opportunity for advancement within a growing company Work with industry-leading renewable energy technologies Supportive team environment with meaningful, rewarding work About Kansas Solar Systems Kansas Solar Systems is a locally owned renewable energy company based in Lawrence, Kansas. As demand for clean energy continues to grow, we are seeking dedicated professionals who want to grow with us. Solar experience is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
