Electrician Sunbelt Solomon United States, Kansas, Solomon 129 West Main Street (Show on map) Sep 03, 2026 The Electrician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and code-compliant operation. Inspect electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, and components on a routine basis to ensure proper function and identify hazards or code issues. Troubleshoot system and component malfunctions and develop repair or maintenance plans. Repair electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and related equipment, to maintain full functionality. Test systems using tools such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters to ensure safety and compatibility. Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams to support accurate installation and repairs. Recommend replacement of equipment or components based on condition, lifespan, and safety risks. Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and materials used. Perform routine maintenance on schedule to prevent larger issues and reduce costs. Complete other industrial maintenance duties as assigned. Electrician certification required Strong understanding of electrical controls Experience with PLC programming Working knowledge of electrical codes and standards Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred Journeyman Electrician status preferred Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical infrastructure and control systems, including PLCs
