What they do

An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Assists with the following:
DC Trench DC Feeder Install MV Trench MV Cable Install CAB Transition Conduit MV Conduit Install Fiber Install Inverter DC Termination Transformer/Sectionalizer MV Termination DC Splice MV Splice MV Riser Termination SCADA Equipment Install CAB Install Combiner Box Install Combiner Box Termination DC Wire Install Module Installation Wire Management Labeling Fiber Termination LOTO IR Scanning Survey/As-Built Skills/Abilities:
Able to lift 50+ (?) pound materials, maneuvering them into their proper places Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc. Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits. This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards. Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
Education :
GED or equivalent education preferred
