Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Master or Journeyman Electrician to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical systems while adhering to all safety standards and local codes. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and maintenance. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify issues efficiently. Follow NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code for electrical safety) standards and local electrical codes to ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or renovation projects, adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) guidelines. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical work with precision and safety. Troubleshoot complex electrical systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and system diagnostics to resolve issues promptly. Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections conducted, and repairs made for project documentation and compliance purposes. Qualifications Valid license as a Master or Journeyman Electrician with proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical systems. Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes. Demonstrated experience with industrial electrical systems including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage control circuits. Strong troubleshooting skills using electrical diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters. Ability to read complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and electrical wiring installation. Construction site experience with renovation projects preferred; familiarity with blueprint reading is essential. Knowledge of electrical safety procedures including lockout/tagout protocols and PPE requirements. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, power drills, frame carpentry skills are a plus for versatile project support. Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with strong attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
