What they do
An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Ability to safely perform electrical construction and installation tasksAbility to follow jobsite safety procedures and foreman directionOSHA 10 training is required and will be provided if not already completed.
