Kimberly Cook Job Summary/Basic Functions Works directly with the Electric Shop Supervisor on a daily basis and with the MEP Manager as need arises, to assure that all University electrical systems operate at the highest efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED Experience:
  • Training and experience acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience in the electrical field.
  • Current Kentucky Electrical License Licensure & Certifications:
  • Training and experience acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience in the electrical field.
Current Kentucky Electrical License Preferred Qualifications:
Job Duties:
50%
  • 1. Assists Electrician or Master electricians in performing routine maintenance on University electrical systems 20%
  • 2. Performs routine maintenance on university electrical equipment as required by established procedures. 15%
  • 3. Assists in inventory control of required repair parts and tools as outlined in established procedures. 15%
  • 4.
Assists in time keeping, blueprint takeoffs, material lists and acquisition as required. 5. Supports the smooth and efficient operations of the department and the University.
