Job Description

Journeyman & Master Electricians - Up to $35/Hour Atek Electric & Mechanical is hiring experienced Journeyman and Master Electricians. If you're a skilled electrician looking for steady work, competitive pay, very little travel, and a company where you're treated like a person instead of a number , we'd like to talk to you. We are an industrial electrical and mechanical contractor serving South Central Kentucky, specializing in industrial service. The large majority of our work is in manufacturing and industrial facilities, with commercial work making up a smaller portion of what we do. Our electricians aren't doing the same thing every day. Our work ranges from troubleshooting and repairs to equipment installations, plant upgrades, shutdown work, controls, power distribution, and new installations. We have built our company around long-term relationships with our industrial customers, quality work, and taking care of the people who work for us. Why Work at Atek?
STABILITY
We have a strong base of long-term industrial customers and steady work. Industrial service means our customers rely on us to keep their facilities running, and we're looking for experienced electricians who want a place they can stay and build a career. UP TO $35.00/HOUR Pay is based on experience, skill level, licensing, and qualifications.
VERY LITTLE TRAVEL
Most of our work is local. Overnight travel is rare, if required at all. You can make a good living in the trades without spending your life on the road.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY COMPANY
We understand that you have a life and a family outside of work. We want good employees for the long term, and we believe that means treating people well.
A PLACE WHERE YOUR WORK IS APPRECIATED
This isn't something we're putting in an ad because it sounds good. When we asked our own employees what mattered most to them about working here, one of the first answers we got was: "The family atmosphere. I feel appreciated here. That goes a long way to me." Another told us the things that matter most are stability, a living wage, benefits, seldom traveling, and working for good people. That's the kind of company we're working to build. Benefits Benefits are available after 30 days of employment and include: Health insurance options Paid vacation 401(k) retirement plan Life insurance Additional employee benefits Stable, year-round employment Primarily local work with very little travel What We're Looking For We are looking for experienced Journeyman and Master-level electricians who: Have strong industrial electrical experience Are comfortable working in active manufacturing and industrial facilities Have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Can work independently and as part of a crew Take pride in doing quality work Understand the importance of safety Are dependable and show up ready to work Want a long-term position with a growing company Experience with industrial equipment, motors, controls, VFDs, conduit, panels, power distribution, equipment installation, troubleshooting, shutdowns, and plant maintenance/service work is especially valuable. Commercial electrical experience is also useful, but industrial service is the core of what we do. The Bottom Line There are plenty of electrical jobs out there. We're looking for people who want more than their next job. If you want competitive pay, steady industrial work, very little travel, good benefits, and a company where your contribution is noticed and appreciated, apply to Atek Electric & Mechanical.
