Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our growing electrical services division. This position will support a variety of projects including commercial, industrial, and telecommunications-related electrical installations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a crew in fast-paced field environments. The Electrician will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems while ensuring all work complies with applicable electrical codes, customer specifications, and company safety standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments
- Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
- Install conduit systems including EMT, RMC, PVC, and flexible conduit
- Pull wire and cable for power, lighting, controls, communications, and low-voltage systems
- Install and terminate panels, breakers, disconnects, transformers, switches, receptacles, lighting, and control systems
- Perform rough-in and finish electrical work
- Assist with service upgrades, generator installations, and backup power systems
- Install grounding and bonding systems in accordance with NEC standards
- Support telecom infrastructure projects including power systems, battery backup, fiber support equipment, and network facility electrical needs
- Diagnose electrical issues using meters, testing equipment, and diagnostic tools
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repair work
- Follow all OSHA, NEC, NFPA, company safety policies, and customer site requirements
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Complete daily reports, work orders, timekeeping, and material usage documentation QualificationsRequired
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of electrical experience preferred
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Preferred
- Master or Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience in commercial, industrial, or telecom electrical environments
- Low-voltage, fiber, or telecommunications experience
- CPR/First Aid certification Work Environment
- Indoor and outdoor construction environments
- Residential homes, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, telecom sites, and active construction zones
- Travel to project sites may be required
- Overtime, night work, and occasional weekends may be required based on project schedules Compensation & Benefits
