Job Description
Overview The role of Deepwater Electrician involves maintaining electrical equipment on the platform, such as motor controls, batteries, relays, VFDs, generators, and power transducers. Responsibilities also include performing electrical isolations, calibrating equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance with organizations like the USCG and MMS, contributing to the development of electrical maintenance plans, and strictly adhering to all safety standards. Responsibilities Maintenance of electrical equipment on platform including motor controls, batteries, relays, VFDs, generators, power transducers Electrical isolations Calibration of equipment Regulatory compliance (USCG and MMS) Assisting in the development of Electrical maintenance plans Strict adherence to all safety standards Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent required 4+ years' electrical maintenance experience in the oil and gas industry 4160v experience preferred Valid TWIC card Offshore oil and gas production platform experience
