An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform various duties required to fabricate wiring harnesses and install components, circuit modules, relays, diodes and harnesses in a variety of assemblies and chassis units for all types of electronic and electromechanical products. Responsible for mechanical assembly and wiring of electrical control panels, AC/DC drives, motors, and other devices, etc. Design and fabricate electrical boxes for installation of components. Drill, edge fill, fit and assemble a variety of detail parts, and assemblies, including cutting openings in bodies to accommodate wire and components, using hand tools and power tools. Inspect for proper installations and integrity. Ability to use general and precision tools such as tape measure, calipers, micrometers, etc Must read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, blueprints and schematics. Maintain necessary documentation and records. Keep work areas clean and orderly. Perform assembly operations on structural and mechanical sub/assemblies, equipment and accessories. Perform other work as assigned.REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a HS Diploma, GED or equivalent Must be able to read and understand English. Must be able to read tape measure. Attention to detail; Strong work ethic; Team Player. Must be able to climb, twist, bend and stoop. Must have use of hands and be able to work over-head. Must be able to stand, squat, and grasp. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.Job Type:
