$150/day Job Overview PPS is recruiting experienced Journeyman Electricians for a 35kV MV project supporting MMR in Abilene, Texas. We're looking for electricians with actual medium-voltage termination experience — this is not a general electrical construction position.EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
15kV-35kV medium-voltage cable terminations 35kV deadbreak elbows / T-bodies MV deadbreak vaults MV switchgear Reclosers Transfer skids / transfer equipment Cable preparation, splicing and termination Experience working with 600A/900A MV equipment is a plus Ideal candidates: Journeyman Electricians, MV Electricians, Cable Splicers, Utility Electricians, Substation Electricians and experienced IBEW travelers with proven MV termination experience. Experience Requirement Terminations at Mission Critical- Data Center Medium Voltage (MV): ~1 kV
- 35 kV High Voltage (HV): > 35 kV Voltage experience with shielded MV cable systems. Qualifications Proven experience working on medium voltage electrical systems Terminations at Mission Critical
- Data Center Familiarity with MV cable construction, shielding, and insulation Experience with indoor and outdoor MV terminations Strong understanding of electrical safety and best practices Ability to work a 6-10's schedule consistently #HP100
