In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across industrial and commercial facilities. Your expertise will ensure that electrical operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, supporting our commitment to operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and programmable logic controllers, in a fast-paced environment dedicated to safety and quality. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems including high-voltage wiring, low-voltage controls, and automation equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately perform wiring and system modifications. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify faults and implement effective solutions. Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and electrical safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment and commercial electrical systems to prevent downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new installation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical components. Use hand tools and power tools skillfully for wiring, conduit bending, termination, and other electrical tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Troubleshoot complex electrical issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motor controls, sensors, and automation systems. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics updates, inspection reports, and maintenance logs. Support ongoing training in electrical safety procedures and stay current with evolving industry standards. Experience Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong background in commercial electrical systems. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Hands-on experience with high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage control systems in industrial or construction environments. Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters. Familiarity with NFPA 70 compliance standards and local electrical codes is essential. Experience working on renovation projects or new installations on construction sites is preferred. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and automation controls is highly desirable.
