An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
Primary Duties within varied scope of work and client expectations will range from:
Work with Construction teams to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations. Ensure newly built systems meet design intent and perform without issue during the facility acceptance testing phases. Review construction equipment submittals, commissioning plans and identify potential deficiencies.
Responsible for conducting and/or overseeing preventative maintenance on regular electrical systems and periodic testing of the equipmentUtilize established programs and procedures to maximize equipment operability and efficiency while minimizing life cycle costs.
Understand potential equipment failures and provide full technical support to Operations teams in the event of a critical system failure.
Perform Root-Cause Failure Analysis and facilitate corrective action.
Provide at request guidance and technical support to Facility Operators. Represent the operation department in project meetings as needed.
Establish and review project objectives, policies, procedures (MOP, SOP, and EOP) and performance standards within boundaries of company policies. Put these in clear concise work statement for the field. Follow SOPs and MOPs and other work procedures preciselyDirectly work with assigned technicians in all aspects of day-to-day operations and maintenance of all electrical critical facility equipment.
Ensure Site Teams are proficient system operation and maintenance techniques. Provides direction and training to less experienced O&M Specialists.
On-call to respond to emergency situations at the data center.
