Job Description
Evans Equipment & Environmental is a sales, service, and rental company established in 1987. We are a full-service company that designs, constructs, installs, services, and distributes ongoing supplies for our systems. Our specialty is industrial water treatment systems which support a green approach to commercial cleaning and water treatment. This is an opportunity with a growing manufacturing and service company for a rewarding career. Evans Equipment and Environmental provides a professional and team-oriented work environment with competitive compensation and benefits. We are looking for a dependable Installer to travel around to construction sites across the country and assist in the installation process of our systems on customer sites. This position requires extensive travel. Interested candidates must have experience in basic electrical wiring and mechanical work as well as experience working with programmable logic controls. All candidates must be able to pass a background check, drug test, motor vehicle record check, and physical to be approved for the position. Further details of work duties are listed below.
Responsibilities:
Installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications and company standards. Controlling operations of equipment or systems. Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance. Troubleshoot any installation issues that may arise during the process. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Conduct site assessments prior to installation to ensure proper planning and execution. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, always adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Strong mechanical and electrical background PLC (Programmable Logic Control) experience a plus Must be able to travel on a consistent basis with or without prior notice Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong work ethic Ability to work independently or in a team setting in a fast-paced environment
