An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
- Work in a team and/or autonomously to complete work orders and provide maintenance support in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment, disassembling and reassembling of circuits, overhaul electrical boxes, and assist with other Maintenance projects as needed.
Job Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience
- Licensed electrician
- Two-year technical degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
- Precision machining skills and welding ability is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds.
- Knowledge of safety policies and procedures is required (e.g. lock out/tag out, confined space entry).
- Must be able to continuously stand, bend, and twist. Must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong computer skills required; Microsoft Office Excel proficiency as well as Computerized Maintenance Management Systems experience preferred
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.
