Job Description

Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Electrician to support commercial real estate facilities. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, including panels, lighting, motors, and controls. You will troubleshoot issues, respond to work orders, and help ensure safe, reliable building operations for high-profile clients. Working within a performance-driven, collaborative culture, you'll follow NEC, NFPA, and OSHA standards while contributing to continuous improvement, sustainability, and technology-enabled facility solutions. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on building systems and equipment during 2nd shift Troubleshoot and repair motors, lighting, panels, VFDs, and controls to minimize downtime Conduct inspections, testing, and documentation to comply with safety codes and JLL standards Support facility operations for commercial real estate clients, responding to work orders and emergencies Collaborate with maintenance and facility teams to plan repairs and improvements Maintain tools, parts inventory, and accurate service records in CMMS or similar systems Follow NFPA, NEC, and OSHA requirements and participate in safety programs and trainings Assist in small installation, upgrade, or retrofit projects as assigned by supervisors Required Skills Electrical troubleshooting Preventive maintenance Commercial facility systems Reading electrical schematics Use of multimeters and test equipment CMMS/work order systems
