This role focuses on electrical service, troubleshooting, repair, and installation work related to residential homes and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and install residential electrical systems Perform electrical work related to HVAC equipment including: Air conditioning systems Heat pumps Furnaces Mini-split systems Thermostats and controls Install and replace breakers, panels, wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding repairs and recommendations Complete service calls, maintenance work, and installations efficiently Maintain a clean and organized job site Accurately document work performed and materials used Qualifications Electrician License preferred 5+ years of residential electrical experience HVAC-related electrical experience strongly preferred Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) Ability to work independently and manage service calls Excellent customer service and communication skills Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to lift equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and varying weather conditions Preferred Experience Residential service work Electrical panel upgrades Generator hookups Smart home devices and thermostats Low-voltage controls and HVAC wiring Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Health insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match Ongoing training and career advancement opportunities Stable, year-round work Schedule Full-time Monday to Friday Overtime available On-call rotation may apply #MPG1
