Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, panels, and systems in commercial and industrial environments Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify issues quickly and effectively Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 70) standards, and the National Electrical Code (NEC) Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to strict electrical safety procedures Diagnose problems within industrial electrical systems and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime Collaborate with construction teams during renovation projects and assist with framing carpentry or handyman tasks as needed Requirements Proven experience as an electrician in industrial and commercial settings with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems Knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards and local electrical codes Hands-on experience reading electrical blueprints and schematics accurately Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Ability to work safely with high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage systems on construction sites or during renovations Skilled in electrical wiring installation, maintenance, and repair across various applications including industrial equipment and commercial buildings Familiarity with high-voltage systems, electrical blueprint reading, and power tools usage Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent attention to detail in diagnosing issues quickly Relevant certifications or licenses required by local authorities; prior experience with construction site work is preferred Additional handyman skills or frame carpentry experience are considered a plus Join us if you're passionate about delivering safe, reliable electrical solutions that power the future!
