Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial electrical systems, 30KVA power distribution , and high-voltage operations . This role requires a bilingual (Spanish & English) professional with leadership experience managing up to five Journeyman electricians . The position offers relocation assistance for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-voltage (30KVA) electrical systems in industrial environments. Lead a team of up to 5 Journeyman electricians , providing guidance, training, and oversight. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Ensure compliance with
OSHA, NEC, NFPA
70E, and other safety regulations . Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on electrical equipment. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure efficient operations. Communicate effectively with Spanish and English-speaking team members. Assist in planning and coordinating job site activities, ensuring deadlines are met.
Qualifications:
High Voltage Certification (Required). Industrial electrical experience (Required). Experience working with 30KVA electrical systems . Leadership experience managing teams of 5+ electricians. Ability to relocate to the Washington, D.C. area (Relocation assistance available). Strong knowledge of electrical codes, troubleshooting, and safety protocols . Must be able to work in industrial environments, including confined spaces and heights.
