Job Description Job Description Job Summary Abode, Inc. is seeking an experienced Master Electrician to lead electrical work across our construction projects. This position carries the highest level of electrical authority on our teams, combining advanced hands-on technical expertise with supervisory responsibility for licensed and apprentice electricians. The ideal candidate will ensure code compliance, manage permitting and inspections, and serve as the final point of accountability for the safety and quality of all electrical installations.

  • This position is engaged as a designated Master Electrician signed exclusively with Abode, Inc. for a trial period of 12 months, for an agreed-upon fee.
  • The individual will work as needed at an agreed-upon hourly rate.
  • On weeks or periods when field work is not required, the individual will perform project site visits in lieu of hands-on work.
  • Provides design-build services to assist and support journeyman electricians on assigned projects. Qualifications
Licensure:

Active Master Electrician license (District of Columbia) in good standing.

    Experience:

    Minimum 5-10 years of progressive electrical experience, including supervisory experience. Federal government experience preferred.

      Skills:

      ◦ Deep working knowledge of the NEC and local electrical codes.

      ◦ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

      ◦ Experience with commercial and/or residential construction electrical systems.

      ◦ Design-build experience supporting journeyman electricians on projects.

      ◦ Estimating expertise is a plus.

        Certifications:

        OSHA 30 Certification preferred.

          Security Clearance:

          Must be able to pass required security clearances for federal projects.

            Travel:

            Reliable transportation required; valid driver's license.
