In this role, you'll perform electrical service upgrades, utility meter relocations, and the installation of solar equipment, batteries, and wiring for residential PV systems. You'll work directly with customers and inspectors while ensuring every project meets our high standards for quality, safety, and professionalism. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, enjoys hands-on work, and is eager to build a career in the rapidly expanding solar energy industry. What You'll Do Install and service solar batteries and energy storage systems, both for new customers and retrofit projects. Perform service upgrades, meter relocations, and electrical installations in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes, and company standards. Provide technical expertise and leadership to the service or installation team when needed. Assist with job site preparation and material staging, ensuring safe and efficient workflow. Maintain accurate documentation of all installations and service calls, including photos, wiring diagrams, and site notes. Communicate professionally with customers, inspectors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site and follow all safety and vehicle operation protocols. What You Bring Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) is required. State electrical license not required (but a plus if held). Residential or solar electrical experience preferred, but not required - we provide training for motivated candidates. Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools, wiring, and equipment. Ability to work safely on ladders, roofs, and in tight spaces as needed. Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly and perform tasks that involve bending, kneeling, and climbing. Valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Record required.
