An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description

Inspects, tests, repairs and maintains the electrical systems in a safe manner within a corrugated box manufacturing facility. Will troubleshoot and repair machinery including valves, solenoids, sensors, PLCs, AC/DC drives, Servo drives and automatic controls. This includes but is not limited to OEM specific systems, Process Control and in-house designs. The primary responsibility of this candidate will be to respond to trouble calls from the production floor to maximize machinery uptime. Daily computer interaction within a CMMS system to support the Work Order System.
Knowledge and Skills:
10 years of electrical troubleshooting experience within a manufacturing environment Strong proficiency in
RLL & PLC
troubleshooting/programming Familiar with test equipment, including meters, HMI's, Laptops etc Robotic experience, a plus Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
