Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute electrical work Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or renovation projects while adhering to all safety protocols and local electrical codes Diagnose electrical issues through systematic troubleshooting of electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems Conduct routine maintenance on industrial electrical equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance Install and connect electrical components such as switches, outlets, circuit breakers, transformers, and lighting fixtures in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and ensure project specifications are met efficiently Experience Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical systems Demonstrated ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Hands-on experience with high-voltage wiring, low-voltage systems, and industrial electrical diagnostics Familiarity with NFPA 70 compliance standards (National Fire Protection Association) for safe electrical installations Construction site experience including renovation projects and framing carpentry is highly desirable Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical systems using advanced diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and PLC programming interfaces Knowledge of local electrical codes, safety procedures, and best practices for working safely on high-voltage systems Join us if you're passionate about delivering top-tier electrical solutions with precision and safety at the forefront.
